Spec Ops: The Line is an all-new, thrilling, provocative third-person military shooter from 2K Games, designed to put players in difficult moral dilemmas where every choice can cost someone´s life. The story is inspired by the films Apocalypse Now and Heart in Darkness, but takes place in the ruined city of Dubai, and the gameplay includes team tactics, a world that forces you to think not only horizontally but also vertically, devastating sandstorms that can be used in your favor, as well as many maps and modes for multiplayer play.

It´s been six months since a terrible storm buried Dubai under a huge layer of sand. Thousands died, including American soldiers sent to evacuate the city. Today the city has become the richest and most luxurious ruins in the world. Not long ago, a mysterious radio signal was received from Dubai and the Delta Force was sent to investigate. Their task is simple: find the source of the signal and survivors and evacuate them. But a war-torn city awaits them. To save Dubai, Delta Force will have to find the man at the heart of this madness - Colonel John Conrad.
Game process

Spec Ops: The Line is a third-person shooter that combines intense gunplay and team-based combat mechanics. The player leads a squad of three characters - Captain Martin Walker, Lieutenant Adams and Sergeant Lugo. Each of them has a unique character, special skills and the role they play in this grimly realistic story about the dark side of war, where there are no good deeds, only hard decisions. As missions are completed, new types of weapons and equipment become available. In addition, the desert environment of Dubai is brought into the game with a stunning level of graphics, and sandstorms actively influence the construction of levels and can either help in passing or become an insurmountable obstacle. The verticals of Dubai´s huge skyscrapers also provide tactical advantages for both the player and his opponents. Multiplayer campaigns contain new modes and unusual situations and environments that expand the experience after completing the single-player game.
