Humanity in prehistoric times

Looking through various materials one can come across a lot of sensations, like "the trepanning of the skull was done in the Stone Age!". Or - "how did the ancients drill a stone?" But it turns out to be no sensation at all. Back in 1898, Russian scientists Anuchin and Volkov literally push through censorship and publish in small numbers the work of the archaeologist and historian-slavist Lubor "Prehistoric archeology of Europe, in particular, the Slavic lands." This work not only gives very interesting facts on excavations, megaliths, data on archeological monuments from different periods, but also points out facts going against the general idea of ​​the stone age. There are examples of trepanning and primitive "machines" for making holes in stones, weaving machines and much more. The work is not limited to prehistoric periods and describes the most interesting finds dated to a later period.
