Remezov. Drawing and Horography books

Remezov, Semyon Ulyanovich - Russian encyclopedist of Siberia - cartographer, architect, builder, historian, artist, writer. His works: "Horoscope Book of Siberia" (1697-1711) Handwritten "Drawing Book of Siberia" (1699-1701). And here the confusion begins, for there are many, many articles on the Internet, you can find maps and pages of books. But! Articles on the Internet for the most part monotonous reposts of the same. The files are incomplete, the quality of many cards is not the best. The fact is that all materials are based on the reprint edition of 1954. If you can still find a copy of the original "Drawing book", then the "Horographic Book of Siberia" - the original sailed to the United States. We were able to exchange with the Harvard Library and get in high resolution the first edition of the Horographic book. In this compilation, we post two scan-copies from the originals at once: the Drawing book and the Chronographic book.
These works are very valuable for seekers and researchers. Not only are all graces (which no longer exist), but the content of the notes and explanations provide valuable information. You can study the material for hours. Here´s a little to think about: Coat of arms of Tobolsk. The capitals of the Siberian kingdom - the double-headed eagle is not. There is an all-seeing eye, there are angels, the word GOD is, but Christ is not. The second lithograph - the eagle is already there, but look at the names of the saints - Truth, Faith, Fire, Love. The maps show the places of battles and the mosque. In our (full) edition of more than 300 sheets, and in the reprinted version no more than 100.
