Primal Carnage is an asymmetric client shooter whose events are raging in the setting of a mysterious tropical island teeming with pterodactyls, raptors and even T-Rexes. You can play both for people and for dinosaurs.

Few online shooters are as asymmetrical as Primal Carnage. After all, usually this word in the name of the game means only the fact that the skills of different classes of the opposing teams are not mirror, which means that the choice of the side of the conflict significantly affects tactics. However, in the "Primeval Massacre" everything went even further - the parties differ not only in skills and appearance, but also in size, gameplay, and sometimes even habitat.

Classes
The team of people has 5 playable types of spells to choose from among which:

Commando is a classic heavy infantryman equipped with an assault rifle with an under-barrel grenade launcher. Only this weapon can give at least some hope in the confrontation with the Tyrannosaurus - but against smaller and faster targets, the grenade launcher is almost useless.
Scientist - despite the name, de facto is more likely a sniper, as he is armed mainly with a hunting rifle with an optical sight. In close combat, it can immobilize and euthanize opponents, and if things are really bad, beat them with a stun gun. Most effective against pterodactyls or slow land dinosaurs.
The seeker is a shotgun Indian who can confuse lizards by throwing flares and even heal allied wounds.
Trap Special - armed with a rifle throwing a net over the vrazhin. Large creatures that got into the network for some time will not be able to bite our teammates, and small lizards generally become temporarily stationary, which makes it easier for a sniper or Commando to shoot them. Using his knife, this guy can kill any captured enemy with one blow, regardless of its size and "fat".
Pyromancer is the owner of a flamethrower and a chainsaw. The first perfectly burns too frisky flocks of enemies, the second cuts even the most powerful opponents in a few seconds. A big plus of the flamethrower - enemies continue to burn for a while after being hit.
All human characters have a first-person view by default.

Powerful dinosaurs confront humans, among which are:

The majestic Tyrannosaurus, the most powerful unit of the game, which also heals by eating people that fell in its way.
Novaraptor, characterized by its enormous speed and ability to knock down a victim on the ground, inflicting multiple bites before her death (or taking raptor damage). Finally, this pangolin owns the ability to greatly increase its damage for a very short time.
Dilophosaurus - this creature has the only remote attack on the entire team of lizards, which not only deals damage, but also poisons the enemy. A person who receives a spit from the Dilophosaurus for a while completely becomes blind, and then continues to receive damage from the poison.
Pterodactyl is an airborne scout who also has the ability to dive at a chosen target, grab it in its claws and drop it from a guarantee of a lethal outcome.
Carnosaurs are another sprinter that has the ability to deal damage in a collision with a selected victim. In addition, they can also slightly improve their health by eating a piece of fresh human meat.
All dinosaurs are played in third-person mode, except for occasional switching to first-person mode during some special attacks.
