Bully is a third-person action-adventure game. An updated version, subtitled Scholarship Edition, appeared in October 2008. The action takes place in the fictional New England town of Bullworth. The main character is "difficult" teenager Jimmy Hopkins, who grew up without a father. His mother remarried and left with her stepfather on a year-long honeymoon, leaving her son at Bullworth Academy, a private boarding school. Jimmy has to find his place among school gangs, local bullies and bullies.

Bully is an open world game where the progression of the storyline is connected with the movement of the hero through the territory of the academy and the city.
