Electronic test. 2018. - 21 p. This file includes: two tests (military and civil) in Microsoft Excel format, a table for calculating test results.

Test description:
The Mississippian scale for evaluating post-traumatic reactions (military and civilian options)
The Mississippi Scale (MS) was developed to assess the severity of post-traumatic stress reactions in war veterans (Keane T. M., et al., 1987, 1988). Currently, it is one of the widely used tools for measuring signs of PTSD. The scale consists of 35 statements (military version) and 39 (civilian version), each of which is evaluated on the Likert´s five-point scale.
The items in the questionnaire fall into 4 categories, three of them correspond to the DSM criteria: 11 items are aimed at determining the symptoms of intrusion, 11 - avoidance and 8 questions refer to the criterion of physiological excitability. The remaining five questions are aimed at identifying feelings of guilt and suicidal behavior. As studies have shown, MSh has the necessary psychometric properties, and a high overall score on the scale correlates well with the diagnosis of "posttraumatic stress disorder".
