The script of an interactive map of regions and subjects of Russia with regions, republics, districts, edges and their borders for the site

The script is a map of Russia consisting of its regions (subjects). Regions, republics, districts, territories, cities of federal significance are located on the map of the Russian Federation. The territory of each region is defined by its border, indicated on the map in the appropriate color. When you hover the cursor over any region of Russia, its contours are highlighted in red, its entire area is highlighted and a tooltip with the name of this subject appears. The size of the map is fixed, without the possibility of increasing, for example, as in GooleMaps or Yandex Maps.

Note:
at the moment, the Russian Federation consists of 85 regions (subjects). On the presented map, there are no "Lipetsk region", "Republic of Crimea", as well as the federal city of Sevastopol.
